Hi, Folks,
PWS is in need of applicants for our up-coming Concerto Competition! If you know of any students in grades 10-12 living in Davidson, Davie, Forsyth, Guilford, Stokes, Surry or Yadkin County who play an instrument, please encourage them to apply. Some of you are band directors and music teachers, so I’m sure you know some capable students! The playing opportunity is hard to beat, and the financial reward is very handsome, as well.
Application instructions can be found on our website at www.piedmontwindsymphony.com under the Concerto Competition tab. Deadline to apply is January 2, 2009. First prize is $1,000. The concert is Thursday, March 5, 2009. Thank you for your help in promoting this event.
