Good Afternoon,
Please remember the All-County Jazz Tapes, CD’s, whatever are due Nov. 15th. That is a Saturday, so we will extend this until Nov. 17th, the following Monday. Also, since the solo is quite long, only have them record the first page of the solo on their tape. This will give them 5 or 6 scales, can’t remember how many are on the sheet and one page of solo. Please encourage your students to audition. We would like to see representation from each high school. They do not have to be in a jazz band to audition.
Finally, one change from what I sent out earlier, Jay Bolder will not be doing the clinic. Instead, we will have Ira Wiggins doing the clinic from NCCU. Thanks.
