Hello all,
I need some help coordinating this event. The “Music in the Middle” concerts are sponsored by GCS and Greensboro Symphony. They are concerts for 7th grades and is a completely free service provided by GCS. The transportation will also be free.
The dates of the concerts will be October 16-17 with a concert at 9:45 AM and 11:00 AM. I will handle all the scheduling, seating, and transportation for you. Here’s what I need from you:
- Collaborate with each other and the principal.
- Obtain permission from the principal for you to go
- Arrange teachers to travel with the students as chaperones
- E-mail me indicating whether or not you can go and number of teachers/chaperones going with students
Please stress to your principals that this is a GCS contracted service for our seventh grades and is completely free. Sub pay is not included, arrangements will have to be made to cover classes. This information will be sent to principals as well so they will be aware of the event. Please let me know the above information by next Friday, September 19. Thank you!
